What your GB suppliers need to do NOW ahead of 1st January 2021

  1. Obtain a GB EORI and an XI EORI number
  2. Register with the Trader Support System (TSS)
  3. Ensure that they understand documentary requirements / EU market standard requirements (ref packaging and labelling)
  4. Get their freight forwarder / hauliers to register with TSS
  5.  Only if you import certain goods: products of animal origin (POAO), composite products, food and feed not of animal origin, and plants and plant products, then it is important that your GB supplier registers to take advantage of the 3 month grace period as outlined in the Command Paper last week.  Your GB supplier will need to email the completed authorised traders form to nisupermarketandsupplierlist@defra.gov.uk by 17.00 pm (GMT) on 28 December 2020.
