The shortlist for the Made in Northern Ireland Awards 2026 has been unveiled, highlighting the depth, innovation and resilience of the region’s manufacturing and engineering sector.

Hosted by Insider Media, the awards have become a flagship celebration of manufacturing excellence, recognising businesses and individuals driving growth across a diverse range of industries — from advanced engineering and biotech to food, digital innovation and export.

This year’s programme reflects the continued evolution of the sector, with new and expanded categories including engineering, collaboration and investment, alongside established awards recognising product innovation, sustainability and export performance.

The shortlisted companies represent the very best of Northern Ireland manufacturing — firms that are innovating, scaling internationally and investing in new technologies, while continuing to provide high-quality employment across the region.

Taking place on Wednesday 20 May at Titanic Belfast, the awards ceremony will bring together industry leaders from across Northern Ireland as part of Manufacturing Month, offering an opportunity to celebrate success, build connections and showcase the sector on a national stage.

Winners will go on to represent Northern Ireland at the UK-wide finals, further reinforcing the region’s reputation as a globally competitive manufacturing base.

For Manufacturing NI members, the shortlist serves as a strong reminder of the capability within the sector — and the importance of continuing to champion, support and promote manufacturing across Northern Ireland.
