Northern Ireland’s manufacturing sector will take centre stage as over 150 senior and emerging industry leaders gather for the Anchor High Leadership Summit on Thursday 28 May 2026 at The Kingfisher Estate, Templepatrick.

Delivered by Manufacturing NI, the flagship event of Manufacturing Month will bring together business leaders, policymakers, and industry experts for a day of insight, discussion, and forward-looking leadership. The Summit will focus on the key themes shaping the future of manufacturing, including economic resilience, sustainable growth, workforce development, and productivity.

The programme will explore the challenges and opportunities facing the sector, from navigating economic uncertainty and accessing finance, to building strong workplace cultures and developing the skills needed for the future. Sessions throughout the day will also examine how manufacturers can improve performance and competitiveness through innovation, leadership, and smarter ways of working.

The day will conclude with the prestigious Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards Dinner, celebrating individuals whose leadership, contribution, and legacy have made a lasting impact on the manufacturing sector and wider community.

The Anchor High Leadership Summit forms a key part of Manufacturing Month 2026, which highlights the importance of manufacturing to Northern Ireland’s economy and showcases the innovation, talent, and ambition across the sector.

Stephen Kelly, Chief Executive, Manufacturing NI, said:

“The Anchor High Leadership Summit will bring together the people shaping the future of manufacturing in Northern Ireland.

“At a time of increasing global disruption and rapid technological change, it is important we remember that we still need people making things and that we support those who do so. Strong leadership and clear thinking are more essential than ever. The Summit will focus on the big issues facing our sector and provide practical insight to help businesses adapt, grow, and succeed.

“It is also an opportunity for leaders to step back from day-to-day pressures, share experiences, and learn from one another. By creating space for open and challenging discussion and fresh thinking, we can help ensure that manufacturing in Northern Ireland remains innovative, competitive, and well-positioned for the future.”
